The trusty pal for daily trail miles, the Torrent 5 is familiar HOKA comfort built for rough terrain—now with even more cushion, durability and breathability. We upped the stack height with 5mm of additional rock-eating shock absorption, wrapped it in a new protective rand and updated the upper to an airy engineered mesh. Built on a high-abrasion rubber outsole with 5mm lugs, this trail explorer begs to hit the dirt.
The Torrent 5 contains our J-Frame(TM) technology designed to prevent excessive inward roll, or overpronation, without overcorrecting your gait.
The Torrent 5 contains features that make the shoe inherently stable, such as a wide base and our Active Foot Frame, for a moderate amount of stability that is still designed to work for neutral gaits.
